From Cancun:

by bus: Daily several buses run from bus station to Colonia Yucatan - El Cuyo (2 ½ hrs First Class, 3 ½ hrs Second Class). 

by Car: Take highway 180 east to Village “Ignacio Zaragoza” ( also known as Kilometro 80 ), turn  right after Customs checkpoint to “Popolnah”, follow signs to Colonia Yucatan, and “El Cuyo” (2 ½ hrs).

From Merida:

by bus: depart daily to Tizimín and El Cuyo direct. (3 ½ hrs).

by Car: take  highway to Motul - Tizimín- Colonia Yucatan - El Cuyo. (3 hrs).

From Valladolid:

To get to El Cuyo, go north from Valladolid to Tizimin, go East to Colonia Yucatan, and then North to El Cuyo (2 hrs by car). 

 
PRIVATE VAN TRANSPORTATION:

Enjoy luxurious round trip transportation from Cancun to El Cuyo and back. Sit back and enjoy the ride, a bi-lingual Driver will pick you up at your Cancun Hotel so that you can begin your vacation right away.

You can go for shopping for those groceries you may need to stock the kitchen and off to EL CUYO!

What better way to begin your vacation than to sit back and take in all there is to see between Cancun and El Cuyo. You can enjoy all of the small towns with their rustic style of construction without the worry of driving a rental car.

Taking the bus from your arrival destination to El Cuyo is a great 2nd option.

If you are arriving at the Cancun International Airport you will need to get from the airport to the Cancun bus terminal.

Buses leave on a regular schedule for Colonia Yucatan - El Cuyo and the cost is very reasonable. The Bus from Cancun bus station through to Colonia Yucatan is a "First Class" service with TV on board and comfortable reclining seats like on an airplane. There are Second Class buses available.
