In El Cuyo you can stroll freely and with a full sense of security.  The people are very friendly and always ready to give assistance.  

YouŽll be able to use the bicycles provided free of charge by Cabanas los Flamencos, exploring this village of fishermen and nearby areas.  

You can take the kayaks into the Gulf.  They are in front of the cabanas and their use is also free to the guests of Cabanas los Flamencos.  They are light and easy to maneuver.  Just return them to the beach by cabanas when you are through. 

You can fish on the dock in front of the cabanas or walk approximately 1,300 feet (400 meters) to the town pier (darsena) or other parts along the boat port (puerto de abrigo).  

Ask for the bicycles, protective helmets, kayak paddles, and life jackets from Dona Minerva Chay (where you picked up the keys for the cabanas).

You can play volleyball in the field next to the cabanas or basketball on the court in the "parque principal" (approximately 600 feet or 200 meters from the cabanas).  The balls will either be in the cabanas when you arrive or, if not, at Dona Minerva's.

There is a hamaca in each cabin.  Hang it yourself or ask assistance from Dona Minerva.  Curl up with your favorite book or let the sound of the sea lull you to sleep.
